Election Watch – Started as a ‘know your electoral candidate’ initiative, it evolved
into a campaign to engage citizens in preventing polling irregularities and screening
candidates for criminal records. In Andhra Pradesh, the efforts led contesting parties to
not field half the candidates in Lok Satta’s list owing to criminalisation.
